Gerald Harvey Jones, known professionally as G. Harvey, was famous for his oil paintings of western scenes and urban streetscapes of the early 1900s and he became one of the greatest American Art painters in history. Before Gerald’s passing in November of 2017, he and his wife, Patty Bentley Jones, were longtime supporters of Arms of Hope. Patty and her four siblings were raised on Arms of Hope’s Boles Campus in the 1940s and 1950s. Gerald and Patty, along with other Arms of Hope supporters, gifted G.Harvey originals and prints throughout the years. It is this collection of G. Harvey’s artwork that Arms of Hope is now sharing with supporters and collectors by way of auctioning each piece to raise funds to further help those in need. For more information about Patty and Gerald’s connection to Arms of Hope, please click here to see the family’s full story on the pages following the auction photos, which was originally printed in Arms of Hope’s 2012 Reaching Generations magazine.
