On April 17, 2011, Saturn Road Church of Christ in Garland, Texas, honored the residents of Arms of Hope by hosting a bed linens and pillow drive. They invited two of our Boles Campus residents, Lori and Tracey, to give their testimonies in front of the congregation. Saturn Road also showed an Arms of Hope video and one of the ministers spoke about the mission of AOH. Members then brought forward pillows and sheets that they purchased and stacked them on the auditorium stage. The collected items completely filled the front of the church and were divided up between both Arms of Hope’s campuses. In all, 333 sheets sets, 290 pillows, 3 blankets, 2 comforters and 1 throw were collected. Thank you Saturn Road for your continued support and specifically for helping give so many of our residents a good nights sleep by providing much needed bed linens and pillows.
